Staff and Board

I really enjoy being on the Folly Theater Board—it’s a chance to give back to a place that’s such an important part of Kansas City’s arts scene. Being involved in preserving its history while also thinking about where it can go next is incredibly fulfilling. And honestly, it’s the people that make it special—working alongside others who care just as much about the arts and the community.

As a Memphian, music and performing arts have always been a meaningful part of my life. My personal repertoire of music and theater has expanded from being on the Folly Theater Board of Directors due to the wide range of presentations the Folly Theater presents.

It’s an honor and joy to serve on the board of the oldest theater of 125 years in Kansas City. The Folly Theater is a cultural hub for all, and I love the programming, entertainment, and events we bring to the Kansas City community.

I’ve always enjoyed live performances, history, and old architecture so joining the Folly Board was an easy decision for me. It has been very rewarding being part of the group focused on preserving this piece of Kansas City’s history and creating new memories for generations to come.
