Secret Rhythm Society – 18+
Step back into the electrifying spirit of Prohibition-era Kansas City, where jazz poured from hidden clubs and the city’s rhythm never slept. This dazzling cirque and dance spectacle celebrates the legendary Kansas City jazz scene and the artists who shaped it, blending the pulse of live jazz with breathtaking circus artistry. Tap dancers trade rhythms with live musicians, aerialists soar above smoky speakeasy stages, and acrobats flip and fly to the infectious swing of a live jazz band. Inspired by the golden age of the KC jazz clubs, swing halls, and underground speakeasies, the show transforms the historic Folly Theater into a vibrant celebration of music, movement, and gravity-defying spectacle.
