Celebrate the holidays with this joyful, jazzy concert by the incomparable Marilyn Maye. Maye, beloved Kansas Citian and national cabaret icon, appeared 76 times on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, the record for appearances by a singer. He called her “Super-Singer”.

Steve Allen presented her several times on his national television show, which led to an RCA recording contract, seven albums, and 34 singles, including her hit record of “Cabaret”. She performed multiple times on the Merv Griffin Show, Mike Douglas Show, Hollywood Palace, Jim Nabors Show, and three appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. Her RCA recording of “Too Late Now” was included by the Smithsonian Institution on the album of the “110 Best American Compositions” of the 20th century.

Maye appeared with Mo Rocca in 2019 and 2022 on CBS Sunday Morning. On NBC’s Harry, she sang her classic version of “Here’s to Life” and was interviewed by host Harry Connick, Jr.

In 2023, her concert at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium was sold-out with 2,804 people in attendance. She performed with the 83-piece New York Pops Orchestra, conducted by music director Steven Reineke, and received twelve record-breaking standing ovations during the concert, eight rave reviews, and a proclamation from NYC Mayor Adams declaring March 24, 2023, “Marilyn Maye Day”.

Maye continues to perform throughout the United States in  clubs and concert halls. For the past 19 years, she’s appeared in New York in the spring and fall at the prestigious nightclub 54 Below for 10 or more sold-out nights. Yearly engagements include Birdland, Dizzy’s at Jazz at Lincoln Center, 92nd Street Y, and various other venues. Since 2012, her twice a year/multiple night engagements are sold-out at the Purple Room in Palm Springs, Catalina’s in Hollywood, Crooner’s in Minneapolis, MIM Theater in Phoenix, and many other venues.

Her new album, soon to be released, consists of her performances in the three venues at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Miss Maye has received and the praise goes on with many Lifetime Achievement Awards.
