Location and Hours

The Folly business and box office is located at 1020 Central, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64105, a block and a half north of the theater.  Normal business hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 

NOTE – In-person sales are currently suspended due to covid.

Parking and Access

On-street, metered parking available 8 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday.  Free parking after 6 pm and on weekends.

Parking Garage – Parking fee is based on time of day and type of event. For larger events the parking fee is typically $8-$10 (cash), depending on other events in the vicinity taking place at the Folly or nearby venues.  For smaller events, the parking fee will be charged at departure by credit card only. Parking is available to patrons in the evenings after 4:00 PM and on weekends only.  

Inclement weather, construction, or other events in and around the downtown vicinity could affect traffic in the area.  Please allow additional driving time to access the downtown parking and the Folly Theater.

Ticket Purchases

Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or on the day of the event two hours before the performance at the theater location (subject to availability).

We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Any other form of payment, (e.g. vouchers, gift certificates, discount cards) must be presented in person. No exceptions.

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds/exchanges/upgrades.

IN-PERSON – (In-person ordering is temporarily suspended due to covid) 

To order during business hours (10 AM-5 PM, M-F), please visit our box office at 1020 Central, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64105.  To purchase tickets the day of the event, you can visit the theater box office at 300 W 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105 an hour before showtime.  Ticketing fees for Folly-produced shows will be waived for walk-up purchase and are subject to availability. Ticketing fees for events promoted by outside promoters cannot be waived. 

 The Folly Theater box office only sells tickets for Folly Theater presented events and select client rental events. To ensure Folly staff can assist with ticket purchase, please call our office at 816-474-4444 to confirm.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Should an event be postponed, the refund and exchange policy will be at the presenting organization’s discretion. For events presented by the Folly Theater, tickets will be moved to the new date and a grace period will be allowed for returns. 

NOTE – Shipping, handling, and service charges are non-refundable.
