March 24-28, join us at the Folly Office (1020 Central St, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64105) to preview the artwork before the official reception on April 6. Previews are open Noon until 6pm each day.
Event Details:
On April 6 from 1-4pm, participating artists and interested patrons are invited to walk on the iconic Folly stage and see all the pieces in-person. The Ben Tervort Trio will be performing live jazz music during the event and Olivia Michka will be painting live from one of the Folly box seats. Tickets are $10 for entry and include light hors d’oeuvres, mimosas, wine, and soft drinks while you browse and bid!
The Folly Theater presents “Art For Art,” an art and memorabilia silent auction with champagne, wine, soft drinks, and light hors d’oeuvres (plus an online bidding option).
This event celebrates the Folly’s commitment to connecting the community to all art forms in new and exciting ways. Proceeds will support the Folly’s creative programming including the Folly Jazz Series, the Folly Americana series, and the education-enriching Folly Kids’ Series.
“Art for Art” is an art and memorabilia benefit auction supporting the Folly Theater featuring over 175 pieces from local artists as well as signed memorabilia from Folly performers like Dolly Parton! Online bidding will open on March 24 and close at 4pm on April 6.
